Three restaurants are located between 2 and 10 minutes away by car: the elegant and sophisticated La Belle Amédée; L’Auberge des Plages, which offers a beautiful ocean view and is a favorite among locals; and Barrio, with its feet-in-the-sand vibe, two distinct areas, and two different atmospheres: on one side, refined cuisine; on the other, tapas and music.

You’ll also find a shopping center a 10-minute drive away.

Rorota Trail

Very nice walking tour, a loop to be covered in 2 hours where you will have access to sea views (Gosselin beach) and an immersion in the rainforest, bordered by streams, small creeks and waterfalls depending on the season. At the top of the trees wood cannons, if you are attentive you will be able to observe lazy sheep, you will certainly hear saïmiris, iguanas and sumptuous morpho butterflies emblematic of Guyana.
